Following on from our previous post which provided a few things you should know about one
of the leading brands we supply, Asco Joucomatic, we at BL Pneumatics thought it was time
we took a closer look at another of our major brands, Norgren. We often bring you details
of new products and news related to Norgren without much background on the company
itself, so detailed below are seven things to know about the US firm;
Founded after Carl Norgren sketched what turned out to be the first ever lubricator in 1927.
Today Norgren is recognised as a leading global supplier of a range of high
performance pneumatic motion and fluid control components.
They have 22 manufacturing stations located around the world with a network of
sales and service centres in 75 countries.
Customers using Norgren products can benefit from ‘increased output,
reduced energy usage, lower cost of ownership and speed to market’, plus much more.
The company has four technical centres set up in locations around the world
which means an increased level of expertise can be sourced and the high performance
products we all require are continually designed and produced.
Norgren pride themselves on how closely they work with their customers to ensure
that needs are always met and product development is in line with requirements.
Organic growth and acquisition of other companies now sees Norgren form part of
the global IMI business which is at the forefront of industry innovation.
Hopefully you now know a little more about Norgren and why they are at the very
forefront of our industry. If you’d like to find out more or discuss a particular
Norgren product that you’d like to purchase, don’t hesitate to contact our team here
at BL Pneumatics who will be more than happy to help.
